I'm a bit confused.. I really don't understand why Gracey wanted to waive her dreams..her sport career and her study..and oh my god..she truly wants to live with her forbears.. I don't kno, maybe I can't understand this things because I'm not her but.. however I take my hat off to her because I can track that this decision wasn't easy!!

well, I think Gracey has the right to search her own identity and to spend time with people "like her", but I also think that she exaggerates sometimes. I don't like Rhonda's character, either. I mean, she hates Angela from the very first moment she saw her, only because she's withe.. like every white person would be a fanatic racist and against Aborigines. I do understand her, somehow, but she should really try to be more flexible and to consider also the fact that there ARE some white people that actually feel SORRY. My favourite character is Angela, by the way... :D see you tomorrow

Hi,
I've also finished the last act now. At the beginning of this act I already suspected that something strange woud happen but that it would become soooo funny. XP
First Jack pretends to be Earnest but his name is John and in the end he has both names.
I like the end it is the top of the comedy.

Hi again,
I like the 3rd act as much as the others.
They are talking about the marriage and Lady Bracknell acts like SHE's the guardian of Cecily and only she can decide if anybody is allowed to marry each other.
I like the comedy in general very much. I just have to laugh all the time... XD

Hi everybody!
I enjoy the dialogues very much! The characters say things that are extremely funny and sometimes so absurd (like Lady Bracknell: "I am not in favour of long engagements. They give people the opportunity of finding out each other's character before marriage, which I think is never advisable"...=))))......)....

I have just finished reading the first part of the book...and Gracey seems very selfish to me. It´s obvious that her culture it´s a great part of herself and that all that Aboriginal stuff like the "stolen generation", the oppression and the marches must be close to her heart...but there´s no need to get obsessed of it. Oo I can understand why Angela doesn´t go on well with Rhonda -.-" ...I think me neither. ;D
see you tomorrow (:

I have just finished reading Act II.
It was so funny to read it, I really had to laugh. :D
Especially the conversation between Cecily and Gwendalon and when the two men suddenly arrive...
The confusion between all of them is really amusing.
I can't expact what happens next!
What do you think, will Cecily and Gwendalon forgive Algernon and Jack? (or better: "Ernest")
